When I was a boy I loved plastic models. My grandma would buy me one for Christmas or my birthday and I would build it on my parent’s drafting table, throw in some good mix tapes {Greenday, nirvana, Silverchair, smashing pumpkins} a can of pop and I would have a great weekend. I look back at some of my early builds and laugh, too much glue, not enough glue, terrible sanding, fingerprints all over the clear acetate glass… great fond memories. I started to get back into plastic models a few years back and have really enjoyed the relaxing nature of model building, I consider myself a seasoned radio control guy but model building has so many layers of detail and skill that R/C can rarely achieve. We have built a new shop for our customers and have been full throttle adding new models every week. I remember when we started with a small rack filled with mostly old school amt models which now has blossomed into 3 aisles head-to-toe with cars, trucks, planes, jets, helicopters and even submarines.
