Chris’s House warranty and exchange policy.

Please see exchange policies below:
We provide a full exchange for all regular stock parts if unopened within 30 days of purchase. All
electronics, batteries and vehicles are final sale. Plastic model kits are final sale, paint is non-refundable
both cans and jars. All special order items {ordered in items} are final sale and are not subject to any exchange or refund.

We do however make the odd mistake in part recommendation. If the part WE ordered is wrong we will help you get the right part at our expense. We do ask for part numbers all the time to ensure we get you the correct part the first time. By taking a few minutes to look at a schematic {online or physical} you will make sure you get the right parts which allows you to get playing again faster and have more fun.   When we ask for a part number it’s because we care. We want you to have fun and be happy


Chris’s House stocks an insanely great selection of both parts and cars. If for some reason we do not stock the car or part you need it is considered a Special Order item. Unless otherwise stated these items are non-refundable or exchangeable. Special order items like all other items are expensive and time-consuming to ship back to the supplier and as such we will require you to pick up said item.  Deposits on non picked up items will be forfited to Chris’s House after 30 days of non pickup of items. 


Chris’s House Warranty

Chris’s House provides many in house warranty services outlined from manufactures and suppliers. The
following brands have in house warranty service with original receipt

Brands not listed above usually carry a manufacture direct warranty where you contact them directly. Many brands only deal with end users and do not permit dealers {Chris’s House} to process warranty. Visit the manufacture brand website and they will have a warranty submission link to fill out or perhaps give them a call/email for better service

Labour for replacement electronics is not covered from suppliers and is pay per service. Please ask us for
cost on replacement labour. Chris’s House covers all shipping from our workbench to the manufacture.
This process can take 1-2 weeks for authorization and we work diligently to have warranty items
replaced quickly for you

All other defective hobby products not listed above will need to be directed to the manufacture. Missing
parts from plastic models can be sent to you directly from the model supplier {amt, revel etc} these
companies have online forms and once filled out they send you the part.

Radio control vehicle warranty does not cover misuse, abuse or water damage. Property and or personal
damage occurred while using radio control cars is your responsibility. Chris’s House is not responsible for
any damages resulting in loss or damage of any kind. Be responsible and play safe

Labour and Repair info 

Labour Charges are per unit, most labour charges are .5 units to 2 units. The Unit rate is $80++.


repairs are done on a first come first serve basis with the exception being a warranty issue that will be placed in priority. All vehicles must come with batteries and remotes and be clean before vehicle acceptance. Most repairs are performed within 5 business days excluding vehicles waiting for parts. we will call you once the repairs are done.

All repaired vehicles must be picked up within 30 days of completion, Vehicles not being picked up will be sold.

We usually make time to charge the vehicle batteries and check remote batteries so when you pick up your vehicle it is ready to go and have fun!

We no longer tune gas or nitro and/or Gasoline engines. We will however perform mechanical work but will not run the engine inside or outside the shop.


Shipping policy

Chris’s House ships your new goods from 2 different location located in the beautiful city of Hamilton, Ontario

we ship all packages within 2 business days {usually same day} of order received. We ship Canada Post expedited only. we always use “signature provided”  and tracked delivery to make sure you actually get your item. We will best resolve any lost or damaged items however Canada Post/shipping company is liable for said lost or damaged items. Chris’s House will not be responsible for stolen items as we use tracked and signature required formats only.

When items are purchased through our website we will forward you tracking information as soon as the parcel is being packaged. We do require an email address to send you tracking information.

When will I get my order?  Canada post usually delivers within 5 business days across Canada. Shipping delays do happen for a variety of reasons which can lead to delays. Chris’s House is not responsible for these delays.


Order Pickup 

You can skip the shipping fees with free local pickup at our main shop located at 421 Concession St, Hamilton, L9A 1C1. After placing your order and selecting local pickup at checkout, your order will be prepared and ready for pick up within 1  business day. We will send you an email when your order is ready along with instructions. WE REQUIRE PHOTO ID FOR PICKUP to ensure you are getting the proper order

If the item is in-stock at our shop you can pick your order up to within 1 hour or less in most cases

Our in-store pickup hours are 10-6 Tuesday to Friday and Saturday 10-2. Please have your order confirmation email with you when you come. We do get Crazy busy some days so we always recommend giving us a quick call at 905 393 6987 to make sure we will be ready for you { which we usually are :] }
